   Oh dear. Are we seeing how the demons in general were made or how Toris was created?

     This is how demons are made in general (although it’s not the only way). The word “Canatopis” the priest guy says is this particular demon’s name.

   Is this some form of punishment for humans in the city? Like if you commit a crime so bad, they will resurrect you as a demon slave?
