I have been paying more attention to the symbol behind Kohjen, upside-down triangle with a cross under it, as it is repeated in other parts of the “device” (magical or technical or techno-magical).
Sometimes Kohjen’s speaking/mannerisms really remind me of Vinny from Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Especially that bottom left frame, it’s great.
Anyway, I noticed that the symbols have been consistently used throughout the entire comic to represent the same things on different objects, makes me think Peter’s made/is using an actual constructed language here; or he’s just very good at keeping things orderly.
Sometimes I wonder if we need to pay special attention to what words are bold?
For this page it’s: Old, Tatchan, Focus Stone, Beam, Light, Wrong.

You kind of wonder if those symbols were from a language before Noridi or Tatchan?
I wonder if anyone can find a way to translate the symbols/ runes?
