Will be interesting to see where she goes on this, because that page she seemed sympathetic to the Stonebreaker’s plight, suspecting humans were mean to him first and caused him to retaliate.
Also I am curious about the Raven mentioned here: http://stonebreakercomic.com/stonebreaker/peek/
and how that will play into the story? It seems there is a time warp or something going on when the Raven gets killed by the boys. I suspect the Raven killed is either the one who helped Tenid or tied to the Raven somehow through magic.
That said, there are questions about Anya’s brother’s bird and it seems birds have some significance in this story. Maybe I’m jumping too fast concluding there could be a relation, but it would be interesting to see if the finding stone bird makes another appearance.
Also noticed the line “Hadol will be Pissed” Hmmm. Are we seeing consequences brought on by an angry God? Perhaps a change in time and a break in religion as a result. (at some point they worship a different God than Hadol.)
ALso noticed the Stonebreaker has at least three clubs now. Each one gets bigger.
i hate to break into the story with a comment — but as a huge fan of mythologists Joseph Campbell and Alexander Eliot all i can do is sit with hushed breath and silently applaud. so good.
Leaving us on a cliffhanger again? Just like always?
Or are you hinting at a very specific cliff, like this one?

Interesting how his “broken” club used to be much smaller:

I’m guessing this is what Anya is talking about:
