I’m really starting to wonder what percentage of the comic panels are named after sound effects.
There are at least nine pages called “boom”, so I’m guessing it’s fairly sizeable.
Well at least this time we get “Doom” vs Boom. That said, Does “Doom” mean something more sinister than “Boom”?
Stonebreaker is still embittered after all these centuries… Change his nickname and the title of this comic to “Ballsbreaker”? 🙂
Brave defiant Anyalin protects that stone that protects the rest of the world from the bitter self-aware demons trapped in Noridun…
Our authors has now to resolve a lot of threads:
* Where are Hadol and his raven in all this? Anyalin still gave thanks to Hadol for protecting the Noridi. The barrier stone is what Hadol’s intervention was all about…
* What are Scribbler and FERADIN going to do? Drop down the shaft? Run away?
* Is the barrier stone infected by a demon or powered by a demon like a focus stone? It looks very much unlike other focus stones (not that we have seem many).
* Where is the little birdie of the search stone going to point Anyalin next to? So far it has guided her several times.
Choices, choices for our mysterious author.
BTW as to choices “Ballbreaker” has not yet used his knowledge of the names of Anyalin, TORIS/Toris, Kohjen to steal their memories. Just because s/he is angry?
Could be there’s consequences to stealing someone’s identity and the Stone/Ball Breaker is well aware of them. Maybe only does it as a last resort. Also he seems to have grown too big for his world. Maybe that’s why. Grow any bigger and it’s hard to move around without bumping your head around the cave ceilings.
